Ajisaki's chewy Taiyaki
"Ajisaki" Taiyaki, can't you forget it once you eat it?

There are only two stores nationwide, Tokyo and Kanagawa (at the time of writing the article), but "Ajisaki" is a specialty store for takoyaki and taiyaki that everyone in the know knows. There are many people who say, "I like Taiyaki here the most!", And it's a hidden store.

After hearing the rumors, the editorial department also tried to eat it, but it is true that the "dough" may compete for the 1st and 2nd place among the taiyaki I have eaten so far ...! So I will pick up 3 items and introduce them!

◆ Mochimochi! Ajisaki Taiyaki

I think that the crispy and fluffy dough is the standard for Taiyaki, but the taste of Ajisaki is moist and mochi! The bean paste inside is plentiful, and the rich texture still fills the mouth.

My personal favorite is "Kokura & Cream Cheese" (195 yen, tax included, same below).

Kokura & Cream Cheese

The happiness of cream cheese, which is creamy and not sweet, and grained bean paste, which has a slightly elegant sweetness, come together in your mouth. With a smooth and rich mouthfeel, the acidity of cream cheese enhances the sweetness of azuki beans. A completely correct pattern that is a mixture of Japanese and Western styles.

Another thing that captivates fans is the "Matcha" Taiyaki. There are "Matcha Kokura Shiratama" (195 yen) with azuki beans and white balls inside, and "Matcha cream" (195 yen) with custard cream.

The chewy matcha Kokura Shiratama is the best inside and outside, but this time I dare to pay attention to the deliciousness of the matcha cream.

Matcha cream

Plenty of custard cream in the matcha dough. If you divide it in the middle, Ponyu! It overflows vigorously. The balance between the bitterness of matcha that spreads as you chew and the mellow custard is exquisite! The point of deliciousness is that matcha is quite bitter.

And finally, a different kind, "Ham Mayo Cheese" (195 yen). A side dish-based taiyaki that combines mellow cheese and mayonnaise with prepuri ham.

The soft and chewy dough gently embraces the punchy ingredients with the salty taste of ham and cheese and the sourness of mayonnaise. There is also "Okonomi Taiyaki" (195 yen), which contains okonomiyaki ingredients, but I think this one is absolutely delicious.

Taiyaki that is not sweet is also delicious

Ajisaki Taiyaki dough has a good mouthfeel, and you can have 3 at a time without joking. Some of them are similar to chewy pancakes, so I think they go well with chocolate, fruit-based pancakes, and ice cream. I would be happy if more flavors were added.

Even if it cools down a little, it is still chewy, so even if you take it out, the deliciousness will continue. There are few Ajisaki shops, only in Ikebukuro and Seibu in Higashi Totsuka (at the time of writing the article), but if you pass by, please try it! I'm sure you will be captivated.
