We packed potato chips with the food culture that Japan is proud of

From the potato chips "KOIKEYA PRIDE POTATO" series, the new flavor "Tempura Chashio" will be on sale at convenience stores from May 7th. The general release is May 14th.

This is a potato chip that reproduces the crispy texture like "tempura" that influenced the development of "potato chips glue salt" which is the origin of Koike-ya. It will appear as the first product of the "Koike-ya JAPAN PRIDE Project" that conveys the food culture that Japan is proud of.

A blend of 100% Japanese potato chips, matcha made from the most picked tea leaves in the Nishio area of Aichi prefecture, and green tea grown in Yame, Fukuoka prefecture. It seems that you can enjoy the taste of the ingredients, the light texture, and the refreshing aftertaste, like eating crispy fried tempura with tea salt.
