At each Ministop store, "Strawberry Sandwich" using different varieties of strawberries for each region has appeared. It will be on sale for 3 weeks from February 27th. The price is 330 yen (tax included).
This is a fruit sandwich with 4 large strawberries and a sweet whipped cream sandwiched between breads. Popular varieties of strawberries are used in each of the five areas of Tohoku, Kanto, Tokai / Kinki, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
Tohoku is "Mouiko", Kanto is "Tochiotome", Tokai / Kinki is "Red Hoppe", Shikoku is "Sanukihime", and Kyushu is "Sanukioka". "Mouiko" is grown in Watari-cho and Yamamoto-cho, which are the reconstruction areas of Miyagi prefecture, and supports reconstruction.
