Nagasaki Prefecture's local gourmet "Hatoshiroru"
The law that the browner and more sober it is, the more delicious it is

Do you know Nagasaki Prefecture's local gourmet "Hatoshiroru"? This is an arrangement of the traditional dish "Hatoshi", which was introduced from China in the Meiji era and was fried in oil with shrimp and fish paste sandwiched between bread. The bread is rolled into a roll to make it easier to eat.

I tried the hatoshi roll sold by Nagasaki Kamaboko, a long-established kamaboko shop in Nagasaki, and I was impressed by how delicious it was, despite its sober appearance (excuse me)!

Please try it once!

Nagasaki Kamaboko's Hatoshi roll is made by wrapping domestically produced surimi such as sardines, hydrangeas, and atka mackerel with finely chopped onions, burdock roots, and carrots in bread.

Put the frozen pigeon syrup in a toaster for less than 10 minutes. It's crispy and hot, giving off a savory, appetizing scent.

The scent of freshly fried

In the crispy bread, the surimi is packed tightly! The more you chew, the more delicious the fish and the sweetness of the oil unique to fried bread will exude and spread throughout your mouth. Strike both texture and taste!

You don't hate this taste, right?

You can eat it as it is, or add soy sauce with mustard and wasabi, ketchup, and sweet chili sauce. It's a local dish that you rarely see in the Kanto region, but if you have a chance, please try it. It may not look good on Instagram, but it's really delicious.
