At Seijo Ishii, the new puddings "Naruto Kintoki Imo and Okinawan Kuromitsu Pudding" and "Rich Maron Pudding" have been released. The former first appeared this year, and the latter is a limited edition autumn / winter flavor.
Combined with the standard "Seijo Ishii special grilled pudding" and "Hokkaido pumpkin pumpkin pudding", there are currently four types in the lineup. It's hard to find such a lineup, so I decided to eat and compare them all at once!
When it comes to Kintoki potato and Okinawan black honey puddingBrand sweet potatoes from Naruto City, Tokushima Prefecture ・ Naruto Kintoki potato pudding is combined with Okinawan black honey caramel.
The pudding is mixed with sweet potato paste with grains, and you can enjoy the smooth and occasionally chewy texture. The rich sweetness of potatoes is irresistible!
The black honey caramel part is plump like jelly. Spreads the flavorful and rich sweetness as it melts in the mouth.
The mouthfeel is smooth throughout, and it has a good balance with the rich sweetness. It is a pudding that you can fully enjoy the taste of the ingredients with a slightly Japanese taste.
Rich marron puddingMarron pudding kneaded with marron paste. It is a slightly brownish shade.
It melts in your mouth and is characterized by a generous chestnut sensation that resembles the cream of a Mont Blanc cake. A deep, sweet and fragrant taste spreads. This is also a jelly type with caramel. The bittersweet taste enhances the flavor of chestnuts, giving it a calm, autumn-like taste.
Hokkaido pumpkin pumpkin puddingThe mouthfeel is smooth like a paste and you can feel the slightly smooth pumpkin fibers. It has a rich taste as if you were eating a sweet pumpkin as it is. Excellent compatibility with bittersweet caramel!
Personally, the pumpkin pudding has the strongest pumpkin feeling in history. If you like pumpkin, give it a try!
Seijo Ishii special grilled puddingA classic and popular grilled pudding. The only ingredients are milk, eggs, sugar and spices, and you can simply enjoy the harmony of eggs and caramel. The sweetness is modest compared to the other three types. It's delicious that you won't get tired of eating it every day.
The mouthfeel is smooth and slightly hard. In the pudding world, where the mellow type is becoming mainstream in recent years, it is one of the few ideal items that the hard-core group can pick up with peace of mind.
