At Ginza Henri, which will be reopened this time, a BAR where you can enjoy a marriage of dessert and sake will appear for the first time. Henri's sweets and sake can't go wrong! The author, who was a big fan of Henri's sweets, has experienced the reborn Ginza Henri for a while.
Ginza Henri is roughly divided into three areas. "BAR Maison" on the left side of the entrance, "Boutique" in the back, and "SALON DE THE" in the basement. In addition, there is one special room (private room) on each floor, and you can help with the production of special occasions such as anniversaries and proposals.
◆ Enjoy the marriage of sake and sweets
The "Bar Maison" facing the street is a "sweets bar" for adults, where you can enjoy desserts and alcohol. The finest dessert with plenty of liqueur and the alcohol menu centered on whiskey are prepared.
The highlight menu is 5 types of "Eating Cocktail" and "Cocktail Savarin" (1,800 yen), which are arranged cocktail recipes. Homemade brioche with fruit and flambéed with liqueur.
On this day, we sampled "Mai Tai" with a tropical cocktail motif. The plate is topped with passion fruit jam, oranges and pineapple. Drop the warmed liqueur here and add fragrance. The blue flame that rises suddenly is a masterpiece. Enjoy the scent of sake and the taste of syrup soaked in.
What impressed me personally was "Macaron Sale". There is something like ram raisins inside, and the scent of sake is rich. In addition, the stimulus of black pepper kneaded into the dough becomes a tingling accent, making it a perfect taste for both wine and champagne. It wasn't listed on the menu, so it's like an izakaya.
The liquor lineup is centered on whiskey. Scotch, Irish, Japanese ... Many bottles are lined up. It seems good to choose a dessert according to your favorite liquor. If you get lost, please consult with the staff. By the way, it's okay if you can't drink alcohol. Siphon coffee is also available.
Business hours are from 13:00 to 23:00. After the other areas are closed, it will be "reborn as a bar". Spend a relaxing time watching Ginza at night ... What a luxurious time!
◆ The famous "blue flame" is a must-see
Next, go to the cafe space "Salon de Te" on the first basement floor. Here, the signboard menu "Crepe Suzette" (1,600 yen), "Dome Noir" (2,200 yen) where the chocolate dome is wrapped in flames, and "Franboise Rose" (1,700 yen) provided by Ginza Henri Original You can enjoy such desserts, light meals, and cakes. Half of the menu is limited to Ginza Henri.
With the wagon service, the blue flames of the crepe suzette and dome noir that are finished in front of you look good in a moody space. I'm glad to hear the cheers! By the way, you can also enjoy crepe suzette at Bar Maison.
◆ Check out the "limited pie" at the boutique!
Go back to the 1st floor and go to the boutique. You can buy baked goods and cakes here.
Be sure to try the "Ginza Honey Pie" (starting at 1,620 yen for 8 pieces), which is limited to Ginza Henri. It is a product unique to Ginza that uses 100% of "honey from Ginza". 200 yen per sheet? I thought it was expensive, but the size was about half the size of my palm, which was bigger than I had imagined and I was satisfied with it. One of the pleasures is the taste of honey that changes with the seasons. In addition, there is a glass floor in the back of the boutique where you can see how this pie is made.
Ginza Henri reborn as "Ginza Maison". To conclude your date, celebrate a special day, or reward yourself. The finest sweets and the finest hospitality in a high-quality space will welcome you.
