Glen Grant is a distillery founded in northern Scotland in 1840. It is said that it currently boasts the world's sixth largest sales volume for single malt whiskey.

Glen Grant 50 years was barreled in October 1963 by Dennis Malcolm, the distillery's master distiller. It has been carefully aged in one sherry barrel for half a century, giving it a rich golden color and a mellow, well-ripened fruit and nut-like aroma. It has a soft and mellow taste like vanilla and a long finish.

The bottle is a crystal made by Renkean of Scotland. The craftsmen have hand-blown the design, which is based on the image of a pot still with an elongated neck in the distillery. The number "50" is 18 gold.

Only available at department stores. Sold by Asahi Breweries.
