Kaikoma in the Southern Alps as a whiskey production base next to the Yamazaki Distillery. Located in a highland, which is rare in the world, it is also called "Forest Distillery". Due to the natural conditions such as water and climate, and the difference in equipment such as fermenter and distiller, raw sake with different personality from Yamazaki Distillery is made.
This time, Hakushu 12 years will be handled again in a limited quantity as the origin of the "Hakushu" brand, which was born in 1994 as the second single malt whiskey after "Yamazaki".
The content is characterized by a fruity and rich aftertaste with a refreshing fresh green scent and fruit scent, and a sweet and soft smoky scent. The label uses handmade Echizen Japanese paper to express the quality of the forest distillery. The letters on the label have been changed to the brand color green, showing the refreshingness of the forest. For home use, it will be sold with a carton based on green with the large letters "Hakushu".
