Lawson's popular series "Genkotsu Cream Croquette" is on sale. This is a new product after Genkotsu Croquette and Genkotsu Menchi. This series is big and voluminous. However, I like it because it is easy to buy at a price of about 150 yen. This new product is a little expensive at 168 yen (tax included), but I was curious about how it tasted, so I tried it.

The cream croquette this time is said to contain "lobster bisque-style" cream. Bisque is a rich French-born soup made from crustaceans such as shrimp. It is said that this product uses lobster heads that have been carefully boiled.

There is another point. It's not a "heated sale" where you can eat hot immediately after you buy it, but a "normal temperature sale", so you need to heat it in the microwave. As a person who loves to buy and eat, I thought it was "troublesome", but I was hoping that it would be delicious, so I bought three. Put it in the microwave at once.

The warming time is 40 seconds (700W in the office microwave oven). When I opened the door of the microwave oven, the scent of shrimp struck. When you insert the knife, the batter makes a crisp sound and the deep red cream begins to flow. The scent and appearance are at a level that you can't doubt even if you come out at a restaurant.

When I try to eat it, it is rich and I can feel the taste of shrimp. The mouthfeel is also smooth. It's rather smooth, so I recommend you to put the sauce on the batter and eat it. Although it seems to be too strong to continue eating, it tasted like it would definitely go well with beer. It should work well as a main dish on the table.

By the way, please note that the taste changes greatly depending on the warming time. Actually, the one I used for shooting was the one that was warmed up for the third time. I have failed twice to warm it up.

The first time, when I tried to take it out after 40 seconds, it popped on the way. The part that flowed out was not very palatable, probably because the water had flown away. And the second time, when I stopped it in 30 seconds, this time the hardness remained and it did not flow out. The contents were warm, and on the contrary, it seems to be easy to eat and thickened, so it may be ant to make it shorter. If you can afford it, try it a few times to find your favorite warming time.
