are Bento (Croquette)" A new product in the "Dare Bento" series, "Dare Bento (Croquette)," a "super simple" bento with only one side dish, will be available at all LAWSON STORE100 stores on June 28. The price is 216 yen (tax included).

Two Japanese potato croquettes as side dishes are placed on top of a sheet of nori bento. The croquettes weigh 50 grams each, and between the croquettes and rice, there is a layer of okaka (bonito flakes) seasoned with soy sauce and nori (seaweed). To match the nori bento, soy sauce is served as a side dish instead of sauce.


It can be eaten by itself or, since it is a small-sized bento, we recommend enjoying it with cold noodles, side dishes, salads, and desserts. The combination with cold udon or soba noodles is especially recommended.

To commemorate the launch, for one week from June 28 to July 4, purchase "Dokudo Bento (Croquette)" and a qualifying tea beverage at the same time and receive a 50 yen discount off the tax-included price. The target tea beverages are as follows

The first product, "Dare Bento (Sausage)," continues to sell well two years after its launch, making it an exception in the fast-paced convenience store bento industry. Other Bento boxed meals that have been sold include "DOKADA Bento (Meatball)," "DOKADA Bento (Isobe-age)," "DOKADA Bento (Fried White Meat)," "DOKADA Bento (Chicken Nugget)," and "DOKADA Bento (Tamago-yaki).

These simple, small bentos have been well received because they can be freely combined with salads, side dishes, soups, noodles, desserts, and other items to suit the appetite and eating scene at the time.
