Shibuya "UNTITLED

UNTITLED is a dining bar located a 6 or 7 minute walk from the Hachiko exit of JR Shibuya Station, where you can enjoy casual French and Italian cuisine, unique and creative dishes, and a wide variety of drinks. I heard that a certain pizza served here is a dish that makes cheese lovers weep...? We went to try it right away!


The restaurant is located in the basement of a building. The entrance is a bit confusing, so you may find it easier if you look for the menu sign on the street. The stylish interior of the restaurant is inspired by New York cafes and Irish pubs. Perhaps it is because it is underground that it feels like a hideout or secret base, and that is exciting!



We ordered the "Marinated Grilled Lentil" and the "Chicago Pizza (small size)". I was told that there are two types of Chicago Pizza, but without hesitation, I selected the one with a lot of cheese (extra charge applies).

Chicago Pizza (S size)

The pizza that appeared on the table was... "What is this? A tart? The unique design makes you want to tilt your head. When you move the whole plate around, the cheese inside the pizza shakes and shakes. What's this...it's not like any pizza I know...!




When I lifted a slice... "Wow! Cheese overflows! In no time at all, the plate was covered with cheese! It was truly a deluge of cheese! I couldn't stop laughing as so much cheese came pouring out. The tension was skyrocketing!





They use béchamel sauce, mixed cheese, and mozzarella cheese. The dough part is black because it is mixed with bamboo charcoal powder.


Not knowing what to eat, I took a bite of the cheese. It was so soft and chewy, it was like a rice cake! I was expecting a thick sauce like a cheese fondue, but it was quite filling. Moreover, the balance of richness and saltiness is exquisite, and I never get tired of eating only cheese! Marinated grilled lotus root

Although it loses out to the impact of the pizza, the "Marinated Grilled Lentil" is also quite tasty. The crispy lotus root is topped with a generous amount of green laver. The texture of the lotus root is addictive! This is a menu item you will want to snack on while having a drink on your way home from work.



The restaurant also recommends original cocktails. I ordered a "refreshing gin-type cocktail," and Chirashi-san, an En-En-En editor who went with me, ordered a "citrus-type cocktail that is not too sweet.


The author's cocktail was a sparkling clear pink color and looked cool to the eye. It is made with gin, cranberries, lemon, and Prussia (plum wine). It's very easy to drink, with the freshness of the plum wine and the clean, crisp flavor of the gin! This is a taste that women will get hooked on.


Chirashi's cocktail was made with Cointreau, orange juice, and tonic. They said this was also juicy and easy to drink taste.

The total cost was 4,600 yen (tax included) for two people. A little over 2,000 yen per person for a delicious drink and a hearty meal is pretty cost-effective, don't you think?

The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable, so it can be used for drinking alone. How about this place for cheese lovers and those who just want to have a drink and go home in Shibuya? Please note that you need to make a reservation in advance to order Chicago Pizza.
