I was curious, so I tried it ... It was insanely delicious, so I will introduce it.
Olive somen made in Sanuki, the home of udon noodles. Olive paste is kneaded into it, giving it a green color reminiscent of olive fruits.
Because it is a raw noodle type, the boiling time is as short as 40 seconds in boiling water. It's hot and it's hard to put the pot on fire. I'm happy at this time of year!
After boiling, wash with water and serve on a plate. Please use your favorite soup (this time, normal soup).
Somen-like, smooth and pleasant mouthfeel. However, when you chew it, it feels chewy! Obviously, it has more presence than ordinary somen noodles. The flavor of wheat is also rich and insanely delicious. I absolutely love udon.
The olive sensation was not so strong, with a slight refreshing aftertaste. I think the main thing is to enjoy the green appearance. But it tasted good anyway, so it's worth trying! If you get tired of ordinary somen noodles, please do.
