Tokyo Ghoul" Collaboration Cafe

A limited time collaboration cafe of the popular manga "Tokyo Ghoul" by Sui Ishida will be held at Ikebukuro Parco from May 27th. This is to commemorate the release of the movie "Tokyo Ghoul" on July 29th.

Tokyo Ghoul" is a very popular manga work by Sui Ishida, serialized in Weekly Young Jump, which has sold a total of 23 million copies. The story depicts the life and battles of Kaneki, a university student who is turned into a "half-eating monster" by being donated the organs of a "ghoul," a monster that lives by eating human flesh while assuming human form. It has been developed into various media mixes such as anime, stage adaptation, and novelization.

The café will offer collaboration menu inspired by the unique characters in the movie, pre-sale of new official goods, and display of costumes from the movie "Tokyo Ghoul".

This kakiage udon is inspired by the udon that Amon ate after his shift. It's served with a "Quincke" style sausage. A scene cut card is included. The price is 1,180 yen.

A mousse that recreates the plate eaten by "Gastronomist" Gassan. The cheese mousse is sweet and sour, perfect for a gourmet meal. Comes with a scene cut card. Price: 1,280 yen.

The event will be held at THE GUEST cafe & diner on the 7th floor of Ikebukuro Parco's main building from May 27th to June 28th. Opening hours: 10:00-22:00 (food L.O 21:00, drinks L.O 21:30). Closes at 19:00 on the last day only (food L.O 18:00, drinks L.O 18:30). The concurrent exhibition of costumes from the movie "Tokyo Ghoul" will be held from May 31 to June 28, 2012, and open from 10:00 to 21:00.
