FamilyMart, Circle K, and Sunkus stores are selling the "highest quality" fried chicken "Famima Premium Chicken (with bones)" (198 yen including tax) from December 1st.

New FamilyMart Premium Chicken with improved texture, flavor and volume. I was wondering what changed and how it changed, so I tried it right away!

◆ Temporarily suspend sales

Famima Premium Chicken (with bones) is a popular product that has been on sale at FamilyMart since 2012. For a while, it sold too much, so it was suspended.


Chicken thighs with bones are mixed with spices and herbs, and they are lightly fried. This time, we changed the "meat cutting method" and "spice / herb mixing ratio". It's crisper, easier to eat, and more flavorful than ever before.

◆ Plenty of gravy and spices

When you bite into the plump chicken, the crunchy texture of the batter is fragrant. With each bite, juicy gravy overflows into your mouth. The meat is quickly unraveled and certainly crispy!


The spiciness and saltiness of the spices enhance the umami of chicken and the sweetness of fat. I ate Famima's fried chicken for the first time in a long time, but yeah, this salty taste is addictive.

When I think about it, I ate it a long time ago, so I couldn't remember the taste of the old FamilyMart Premium Chicken (sorry), but there is no lie that the new chicken is delicious anyway!
