Jaga butter made from the encounter between Honori Kasukana sake lees cream and plums
Sake lees cream x Western-style umeboshi snack recipe!

"Sake lees" and "Umeboshi". Both are traditional ingredients that have been eaten from Furuku in Japan. But do you have a slightly sober image? Introducing this time are "Sake lees cream" and "Western-style umeboshi". This is an idea product that makes it possible to use sake lees and pickled plums in a fashionable and convenient way.

Of course, it's delicious to eat individually, but these two are just right! I've combined the two to make a simple snack that looks great on a stylish table, so I'll introduce it.

What is "Sake lees cream"?

"Sake lees cream" or "Honnorikasukana sake lees cream" is a paste of sake lees that can be eaten simply by putting it on bread or in yogurt. It was developed in Niigata prefecture, the kingdom of sake, so that you can easily enjoy sake lees that take a little time to cook.

Although the main ingredient is sake lees, it is not sake lees, and it is alcohol-free and additive-free. Three flavors, "cream cheese flavor," "ginger syrup," and "condensed milk," are available (540 yen each).

The cream cheese flavor is one of my favorites. The raw materials are sake lees, olive oil, soy milk, salt and vegetable foods, but they taste like cream cheese. In other words, it can be used instead of cheese. It's perfect for a little snack.

What is "Western-style umeboshi"?

"Western-style umeboshi" is a umeboshi from Kishu Nanko Ume called "Umeboshi-UMENO DEAI-" (864 yen) released by a umeboshi maker in Wakayama prefecture. The juice of the grape "Cabernet Sauvignon" used for wine and balsamic vinegar are added to make it slightly sweet.

It was developed so that you can enjoy it with cheese and buckets instead of rice. There is no sourness that makes you squeeze your mouth, and the thick and soft flesh has a faint scent of grapes.

Canapé

[What to prepare]
Crackers, baguettes, honnorikasukana cream cheese flavor, plums, plums, honey, mint

Apply sake lees cream to the baguette, put the plum blossoms on it, sprinkle with honey, and top with mint. We replaced cream cheese with sake lees cream from the recommended recipe by Kishu Sogo Foods, which produced the encounter of plums.

The plums have a refreshing sweetness, so they match honey and mint without any discomfort. You can put a whole grain on it in luxury!

Western-style Jaga butter to enjoy early summer

[What to prepare]
1 potato, proper amount of dip sauce, 3 herbs (this time thyme)

[How to make]
Tear off the thyme leaves by hand. Wrap the potatoes in plastic wrap and heat in the microwave for about 5 minutes. After splitting the center into a cross, put the dip sauce you made earlier and sprinkle the time. Bake the toaster for about 3 minutes.

Taking advantage of the dip sauce I mentioned earlier, the new seasonal potatoes are made into Jaga butter style. Recently, it seems that "grilled umeboshi" is attracting attention, so I warmed it with a toaster together with the dip sauce.

When warmed, it has a slight scent of sake lees. The impression is different from the cold dip sauce. Enjoy with plenty of potatoes.
