New summer ice cake "Oval Glasse Mango Coco"

A new work from the summer of 2016 is now available at GLACIEL, a store specializing in raw glasses in Omotesando, Tokyo. It will be released sequentially from May 16th.

The lineup consists of three products: "Tart Citron Bergamot", "Forenois Pistache" (all released on May 16), and "Oval Glasse Mango Coco" (released on June 1). Based on the concept of "Fraîché ur d'été (freshness of summer)", it seems to bring out the charm of the acidity and freshness of fruits to the "maximum".

Tart citron bergamot is an entremets glasse (ice cake) made from French bergamot and lemon tart dough. Fromage blanc quenelle (dango-shaped) is placed on the top surface, and mascarpone quenelle is squeezed to the edge. The price is 3,800 yen (excluding tax, the same applies below). Forenois Pistache is an entremets glasse that combines bitter chocolate ice cream with pistachio and griot (cherry) sorbet. The bright green of the pistachio and the red sorbet of the griot that borders the surroundings create a vivid contrast. The price is 4,500 yen.

Oval Glasse Mango Coco is a tropical oval glasse (oval ice cake) using 4 kinds of tropical fruits (mango, coconut, passion fruit, banana). The chocolate topping in the shape of passion fruit creates a refreshing feeling. The price is 3,000 yen. Limited time until September 30th.
