"Bacon" used in McDonald's "Bacon Lettuce Burger" has been renewed. The weight is about twice as large, and it will be a juicy "smoked bacon". It will be available nationwide from April 13th (some stores will sell it from April 1st).

The new smoked bacon uses Danish pork belly. By grilling one by one on the iron plate of the store, the original sweetness of bacon, smoky aroma, and juicy taste are brought out.

The target products for the renewal are "Bacon Lettuce Burger," "Mega Muffin," and "McGriddle Bacon Egg."

With this renewal, the price of the new bacon lettuce burger will increase by 10 yen to 350 yen (tax included, same below). The prices of Mega Muffin (330 yen) and McGriddle Bacon and Egg (290 yen) have not changed.

In addition, the mega muffins and McGriddle bacon and eggs will be changed from the conventional two to one, "considering compatibility with smoked bacon with an increased presence and the optimum balance of taste." Although the number of bacon is reduced, the weight is heavier than before, and it seems that the presence of bacon is increasing.
