The Christmas market is a traditional festival held during the Christmas season (end of November to December 25) in Germany and other parts of Europe. Illuminations and other decorations are given to the city square, and "Glühwein" (hot wine), traditional sweets, and miscellaneous goods are sold at the stalls.
At the Tokyo Christmas Market 2015 to be held this time, in addition to food and drink such as mulled wine, Stollen, and German stew "Goulash", miscellaneous goods imported directly from Germany will be sold.
In addition to the 14-meter-high "Christmas Pyramid" that will be the first landing in Japan, live performances by choruses and orchestras from Germany and workshops such as candle making are planned.
The venue is Hibiya Park Fountain Square. The holding time is from 12:00 to 22:00 (16:00 to 22:00 on the 11th).
