A Christmas market is being held at Motoki Hills Oro Plaza. It will be held from November 25th to December 25th.

This is an event that reproduces the Christmas market in Stuttgart, Germany, which is said to be the largest in the world. There are a total of 11 shops selling authentic German food such as more than 2,000 kinds of Christmas miscellaneous goods, glühwein and sausages, including "Kete Wolfart", which has its main store in the city along the Romantic Road.


The space is cutely decorated and lit up, giving you more tension! There is a fluffy and sweet scent of Glühwein in the surroundings.







Among the delicious menus, the first one I ordered was the "German Hot Stand" "7 Cheese Dog Boxes". The price is 900 yen (tax included).


A set of hot dogs and potatoes combined with a rich cheese sauce using 7 types of cheese (Gouda, Samsoe, Steppen, Mozzarella, Cheddar, Parmesan, Mascarpone). Enjoy a hot dog topped with onions and ketchup on the counter and plenty of cheese sauce.




Bread with hard skin is satisfying to eat and the dough is chewy. The crispy and crunchy sausages are very juicy! It goes perfectly with rich cheese cream.


The remaining cheese sauce is topped with Hokuhoku potatoes. It is a set that you can enjoy until the end.


I ordered "Apple Glühwein (500 yen including tax)" and "Hot pretzels (400 yen including tax)" at "Marcus Christmas Cafe". Glühwein is served in paper cups.


The fresh scent of apples is fluffy before you drink it! In the Hessen region, which is famous for apples, warming apple wine and drinking it is a standard Christmas. This wine is said to have been imported directly from the Hessen region. Alcohol content is 5.5%.

The refreshing sweetness of apples that fills your mouth. The taste is very mellow. This seems to be enjoyable even for people who don't usually drink much wine!


The pretzel with fermented butter won the "German Agricultural Society Gold Medal". The surface has elasticity that is halfway between crisp and chewy, and the inside is super chewy! You can feel a slight saltiness. Fermented butter is also smooth and delicious ~ ♪



Besides, beer and sausage dishes are lined up. Glühwein, which you drink while surrounded by glittering Christmas items, is the best!
