It may seem a little late, but it was decided to hold the Tokyo Olympics in 2020! Immediately after the announcement, there was a great deal of excitement, including in the political world, and the world is still in a “hospitality boom”.

In such a festive mood, information that there is a sushi restaurant called "Olympic Sushi" that is gradually gaining popularity came to the eating editorial department. This shop, which is reminiscent of the Olympics, has a seafood bowl that looks like a parfait.

I'm not sure about "seafood parfait", but I feel like congratulations! Isn't it Otsu to celebrate the Tokyo Olympics with "sushi", the representative of Japanese food? So I decided to go to "Olympic Sushi" immediately.

■ Arrive at "Olympic Sushi"

"Olympic Sushi" is located on the 8th floor of the building, a 3-minute walk from Gotanda Station toward the west exit. At the entrance, there is a banner saying "Congratulations on the Tokyo Olympics." I want to be quick!

Thank you!
Thank you!

When you enter the store, you will find yourself in the Olympic mood! The bright national flags pasted throughout the room, the cheering paper of "Ganbare Japan", and the Kusudama with "Congratulations" written on it. Various "Olympic support goods" are welcoming you.

I wonder if it will be like this until 2020 ... I wonder ...
I wonder if it will be like this until 2020 ... I wonder ...

There are three types of seats: counter, table, and tatami room. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:15, but it was a little too early, so I decided to wait in the tatami room until lunch time started. There are no customers other than the author yet.

■ Order a seafood bowl

Around 11:30, a clerk came to pick up my order.

All are attractive menus

From the lunch menu, I ordered a regular serving of seafood bowl for 600 yen and a large serving of 700 yen. What kind of parfait ... No, I'm excited to see what kind of seafood bowl it is!

■ Seafood bowl is now available

After waiting for about 20 minutes, the seafood bowl was finally delivered!

It's like a big one! Without lettuce, the ingredients will fall off!

This is a great success! Saury is looking over here! !!
This is a great success! Saury is looking over here! !!

The first thing that catches your eye is the grilled saury with its head stuck in a bowl . It's a scene that makes you want to wonder why. And the fish, fish, and fish that are just squeezed out of the bowl, which are piled up around the saury! The average size already looks like a large size, but the large size is in a larger container. A "seafood parfait" that is just right for the autumn of art, with vivid seafood added to the canvas of rice!

■ Try eating "seafood parfait"

There are more than 10 types of seafood, including tuna, salmon, octopus, and shellfish. Not only sashimi, but also grilled fish and fried fish. You can enjoy various recipes of fish in one bowl, so you won't get tired of eating it all the time. It's too good to eat this for 600 yen (700 yen for a large serving)!

This is the seafood "decathlon"! !!

The more you chew the sashimi with plenty of fat, the more delicious it spreads in your mouth. You can't feel the fishy smell peculiar to fish. The freshness can be seen from the glossy color and texture of the prepuri.

Grilled fish, or saury, may be an ingredient unique to this time of year. The simple taste of fragrantly baked autumn saury goes well with rice.

There are two types of fly. The batter is crispy, and I'm a little tired of sashimi ... It might be good for chopsticks rest (?) When I think. I was able to eat the bones without worrying about it.

■ Kaisendon is limited to 20 meals a day, aiming at 11:30

This seafood bowl is actually a high-magnification lunch menu where only 20 meals are sold per day.

Customers come to the restaurant one after another from around 11:30, so if you want to make sure you eat the seafood bowl, we recommend that you arrive at the restaurant by 11:30 at the latest. After 12 o'clock, it is highly possible that the seafood bowl is sold out.

■ "Olympic" in "Olympic sushi" is not "Olympic"

I have reported on the Olympics so far, but it seems that the store name "Olympic Sushi" comes from the book "The Book of Five Rings" written by Miyamoto Musashi. It's not the "Olympic".

"Olympic book" is a book that describes "the law to become a master of swords for a lifetime", and the owner said "Olympic sushi" I heard that it was put in the store name. It's a nice name!

Regardless of the origin of the name of the restaurant, "Olympic sushi" is a hearty "seafood parfait" that offers "hospitality" that is not ashamed of its name. If you want to taste delicious "seafood parfait" in the festive Olympic mood, please come visit us!
