Sandwich chain SUBWAY released new autumn products, "Mushroom Cheese Chicken" and "Salmon & Mascarpone" on September 6. Each is priced at 450 yen.

The "Mushroom Cheese Chicken" sandwich is a combination of truffles, mushrooms, eringi mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and bolcini mushrooms sautéed with a melted cheddar cheese sauce and roasted chicken made from "Saisai-dori" chicken from Iwate Prefecture. The dietary fiber and vitamin D in the mushrooms help the body absorb the calcium in the cheddar cheese sauce.

The "Salmon & Mascarpone" sandwich is filled with cherry chip-smoked salmon and smooth Mascarpone cheese. The vegetables are simply seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to bring out the flavor of the salmon and mascarpone cheese.

Both are available until early November. The "Drink Set" (special price 550 yen), which includes a drink (S), is also available.
