The bread "Crescent-shaped raisin jelly," which won the grand prize in the product development contest using raisins, will be on sale from August 8 at each Donk bakery brand "Marie Catherine." The price is 320 yen.


This product is a perfect balance of jelly-coated raisins with a plump texture, red wine-scented anglaise sauce, and cream cheese sauce. It is said that the bread is finished so that you can feel the goodness and characteristics of raisins themselves, such as the sugar content and high nutrients of raisins.

Produced by Mr. Matsuki, the chief of the Hirakata Marie Catherine store, it was selected as the grand prize from 206 works nationwide at the "22nd California Raisin Bakery New Product Development Contest" held in June 2013.
Available stores are Hakodate store, Maruei store, Keihan store, Hirakata store, Kyobashi store, Kuzuha store, Suminodo store, and Kumamoto store. It is scheduled until August 31, but the sales period is different at some stores.
