Nissin Holdings' instant noodles "NISSHIN Noodles" will be on sale in Africa and Kenya. The first Japanese instant noodle maker to enter Africa.

The products to be sold are newly developed according to Kenyan food culture and taste preferences, and there are two types of Kenyan yakiniku dishes, "Nyamachoma flavor" and "Chicken flavor". The noodles are millet noodles containing "whole grain flour" recommended by the Kenyan government and millet "sorghum". In addition, there is no custom of drinking hot soup noodles locally, so it is a soupless noodle type product.

The estimated price is 30-40 Kenyan shilling (Ksh), which is about 35-40 yen in Japanese yen. Imports and sales of products for Kenya manufactured in Nissin, India will begin in September this year, and will be produced at a local factory in Kenya from the fall of 2014.

Kenya is a country located in East Africa with a population of about 42 million. About 45% of them are young people under the age of 15, and future population growth and significant economic growth are expected. The need for simple meals is increasing, and the demand for instant noodles is increasing year by year.
