This product is a dorayaki (dough cake) about 4 cm in diameter filled with white bean paste and covered with yokan (fruit jelly) containing five kinds of fruit juices (strawberry, lemon, orange, blueberry, and melon) to create a colorful macaron-like finish. The dough, bean paste, and fruit yokan create an unexpected harmony.

Female customers also participated in the product planning. The company developed "Doraron" as an "evolutionary dorayaki" in collaboration with long-established Japanese confectionary store Umezono and others under the theme of "a surprising 'petit-pre' (gift) that can be taken to a girls' night out.

A waffle-like dorayaki called "Dodofuru" will also be available. There are three types of bean jam: blueberry, coffee, and fresh ginger, each priced at 179 yen.
