The Yoshinoya will reduce the prices of all "beef bowls" and "beef plates" from 10:00 on April 18. The price of beef bowl is from 380 yen to "280 yen", which is the same price as the same menu of Sukiya and Matsuya.


The company explained that the reason for the price cut was that it became possible to procure the most suitable beef for beef bowls due to the "relaxation of import conditions for US beef" in February this year. The average price of 280 yen is the first since the temporary suspension of beef bowl sales in 2004.

Other size changes are from 480 yen to "440 yen" for beef bowl large servings and from 630 yen to "540 yen" for special servings. In addition, beef plate regular serving is from 280 yen to "240 yen", large serving is from 380 yen to "340 yen", and special serving is from 530 yen to "440 yen".
