The ice cake "Balloon de Fruy", which sells more than 100 units a day, is on sale at the official online shop of LeTAO, an Otaru Western confectionery store. The price is 5,104 yen (tax and shipping included).
This is an ice cake made in the image of a fruit basket. The cake has four layers, with five types of spherical sorbet such as green apples and framboise on the top, and vanilla and strawberry marble ice cream underneath.
The base vanilla ice cream is mixed with crispy white chocolate coated with fine cookies, and it is said that the ice cream has an "interesting texture".
