Comparison of Famima's breads with fresh cream: "Nama Coppepan", "Nama Donut", and "Nama Scone"! Which one felt the most "fresh"?

FamilyMart "Nama 00" Series

Have you tried the "Nama 00" series that has appeared in the bread section of FamilyMart? The lineup includes a variety of bakery products that contain fresh cream in the dough, such as "Nama Coppepan" and "Nama Scone.

The word "raw" already sounds delicious, but what is the difference in taste of "raw" bread compared to regular bread? I was curious, so I bought some of Famima's "raw 00" bread!

This time, I will compare "Nama-Sukone 6 pieces", "Nama-Donut (custard whip)", and "Nama-Koppeban", the representative of the sweet type "Nama-Koppeban (red bean paste and whipped butter)" and the representative of the salty type "Nama-Koppeban (egg)"! Which bread gives you the most "raw" taste?

Here are the results!

No. 4 Raw Coppepan (egg)
No. 3 Raw Coppepan (red bean paste & whipped cream with butter)
No. 2 Raw Scone
No. 1 Raw Donut

The most "raw" bread was the "Raw Donut"! The most delicious doughnut was the raw doughnut, which I personally thought was the best of all the doughnuts I tried this time. The moment I put it in my mouth, it melted into a fleeting texture that made me want to see it again as soon as I finished eating it... (captivated).

Please refer to the detailed review below!

Fresh Coppepan (egg)

A rich and tasty egg filling is sandwiched between a soft and chewy dough to which fresh cream is added. Priced at 138 yen, each piece contains 313 kcal.

Yummmm...there is a lot of egg salad in it. The bread is soft and fluffy in the mouth, but chewy and chewy. It has a slightly hard texture that stays in your mouth. The egg salad has a creamy, rich eggy texture that is perfect for the tongue!

Fresh Copped Bread (Whipped with An & Butter

)

A brioche dough to which fresh cream is added is sandwiched between smooth sweet bean paste and whipped topping with butter. Priced at 138 yen, each piece contains 345 kcal.

The bread is fluffier and lighter in texture than the "Nama Coppepan (egg)," and melts in the mouth when chewed, giving it a rich brioche-like mouth feel. It has a rich texture that is typical of brioche, and is probably better eaten as is rather than baked in a toaster. The sweetness of the red bean paste, which still has a crunchy texture, and the mild milk flavor of the whipped cream melt together with the moist bread, making you happy!

Fresh scones (6 pieces)

Pack of 6 scones made with fresh cream and whipped cream. Priced at 178 yen, each scone contains 81 kcal.

The scones are much more moist than ordinary scones! You can even feel the "stickiness" in your mouth. When you bite into a scone, it melts and the aroma of the wheat and bitterness of the chocolate gradually spreads.

I wondered if it would be crispy if I baked it, so I tried baking it in the toaster. I tried baking it in a toaster to see if it would crisp up, but I was surprised to find that it still had the same moist texture, although it was slightly crispy and fluffy. This is... a raw scone...! By the way, I personally liked it better when I baked it a little (because I could enjoy both fluffiness and moistness).

Raw doughnut with custard whip

A moist doughnut with fresh cream and smooth custard whipped cream. Priced at 145 yen. 371 kcal per doughnut.

This is not fair! It's so delicious! The dough melts in your mouth the moment you bite into it. The custard whipped cream is so rich and thick that it fills the mouth with a rich sweetness.

The cream tastes more like milk than egg, and its sweetness is refreshing, making it a perfect match for the rich dough with whipped cream. The dough and cream melt together at the same time, creating an exquisite texture that is more of a sweet than a bread.

Finally,

in addition to the "egg" and "an & buttered whipped cream" flavors we tried this time, the "Nama Coppepan" series also includes "croquette & egg," "tuna," "blueberry jam & cheese cream," "double peanut," and many other flavors, showing the effort put in by Famima. Why not find your favorite one? I have a feeling that we will be seeing many more "raw 00" flavors in the future, so I have high expectations for them!
