[Tasting] KALDI's "Moheji Ripe Kinkan Marmalade" - Sweet and sour and bittersweet! Great with bread and yogurt!

This is an Tasting review of "Moheji Fully Ripe Kinkan Marmalade" purchased at KALDI Coffee Farm. It has a sweet and sour taste with a hint of bitterness, and is a product that makes full use of the kumquat ingredients.

Moheji Fully Ripe Kinkan Marmalade

Moheji Fully Ripe Kinkan Marmalade is made from Miyazaki Prefecture's fully ripe kumquat "tadashi" (kumquat). It is a marmalade that "makes the most of the kumquat ingredients" by using the whole kumquat as a jam.

The label features an illustration of a kumquat tree with a large amount of kumquats. 110g (3.88oz) package, priced at 480 yen (tax included).

What does Moheji Fully Ripe Kinkan Marmalade taste like?

It tastes sweet and sour with a hint of bitterness. It has a clean and clear finish compared to orange marmalade.

The sweetness is moderate compared to other jams. The crunchy texture of the peel and the seeds, which spread bitterness when popped, accentuate the taste. It lives up to its claim of "making the most of kumquat ingredients"!

In addition to spreading it on bread, use it as a topping for yogurt or ice cream, or use it as a sauce for meat dishes! If you are looking for something a little different, pick up a bottle of jam.
