The "Kura Sushi meets BEAMS JAPAN" collaboration campaign will be held at Kura Sushi restaurants nationwide from September 2 to September 30. In the campaign, "Veggie Roll (Salmon)", "Veggie Roll (Shrimp)" and "Soy Nugget", which are original "SDGs menu items" using substandard vegetables and soybeans, will appear at stores nationwide.

Sushi rolls made from "Vegeat" (carrot sheet), a vegetable sheet made from non-standard vegetables that are not usually distributed. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), out-of-specification vegetables account for approximately 20% of total production, and their use is being promoted as a solution to food loss. Veggie rolls are made with fatty salmon and plump shrimp, topped with popular avocado, shrimp mayo, salmon roe, and other toppings. Priced at 220 yen each.
Soy Nuggets
Made with soy-based meat substitutes, which are currently the focus of much attention. They have the juiciness and texture of meat, and are environmentally friendly. It has a light flavor and goes well with barbecue sauce. Price: 380 yen.

The first 2,500 customers (one for every 2,500 yen spent) will receive a BEAMS JAPAN originally designed eco-bag (one for every 2,500 yen spent) as a limited offer at Kura Sushi Kyoto Store, which is adjacent to BEAMS Kyoto Store. Both sides of the bag are decorated with illustrations of cranes and turtles, which are symbols of good fortune, and the inside of the handle is decorated with an orange and white striped pattern. Mango Ice Cream Monaka" is sold exclusively at the Kyoto branch of Kurazushi. Mango ice cream made with Alphonso mango is sandwiched between two pieces of monaka. The price is 250 yen.
During the campaign period, customers will be welcomed with an original Happi designed by BEAMS JAPAN. The design depicts "Karesansui sand patterns" reminiscent of Kyoto's history and culture.
