Osanshoao (custard flavor)
Jellyfish (Yuzu)

On the day I purchased the set, there were two kinds of Pengin, two kinds of Kurage, Oosanshoao (green tea flavor), and Azarashi.

Eating the Tasting

Upon opening the box, you will find individually packaged nerikiri and daifuku. The sea creatures lined up in a row are adorable! Only the blue jellyfish was upside down, but the other wagashi were packed neatly.

The correct answer is.

Pengin (milk-flavored/nerikiri)

Pengin (black)" is a paste filled with moist and creamy milk-flavored red bean paste. The face is cute! The red bean paste has a strong milk flavor and a firm sweetness.

Pengin (Strawberry-flavored/nerikiri)

Pengin (red)" is a kneaded dough with strawberry-flavored red bean paste. The strawberry flavor is less pronounced than expected, but it has a strawberry jam-like flavor. The puchi-puchi texture accentuates the taste.

Jellyfish (Yuzu-flavored/Kneaded)

Kurage (blue) is a lightly-sweetened, kneaded jellyfish filled with a refreshing yuzu-flavored red bean paste. The aroma of yuzu is strong! The refreshing citrus flavor spreads in your mouth.

Jellyfish jellyfish (chocolate flavor/nerikiri)

Kurage (purple) is a kneaded jellyfish filled with chocolate-flavored red bean paste. The sweetness of the bean paste is THE chocolate! Firmly sweet! Firmly sweet! Recommended for children.

Oosanshoao (green tea flavored Daifuku)

Daifuku with green tea-flavored sweet bean paste in a sticky dough. The dough is soft and chewy! It matches the green tea bean paste inside. If you don't usually eat Nerikiri, this one may be good for you.

Azarashi (black sesame flavored Daifuku)

The "Azarashi" is Daifuku filled with a strong-flavored black sesame-flavored red bean paste. The black sesame bean paste inside the glutinous dough can be enjoyed with the full aroma of sesame. Enjoy it with a cup of green tea!

The sweetness of the flavor makes them easy to eat for everyone from adults to children. How about buying one as a souvenir?
