I actually bought "Yokohama Shiumai Chili" sold by Kiyoken and tried it. The purchase price is 390 yen (tax included) per box.

Yokohama Shiumai Chili

"Yokohama Shiumai Chili" is made by boiling "Kiyoken Shiumai" with two kinds of doubanjiang and sautéed chili sauce with flavored vegetables. When heating in a microwave oven, be sure to heat with the front side facing up without opening the inner bag. In the case of a water bath, put it in boiling water without opening the inner bag and boil it to warm it.



The spicy sauce is often entwined with the three shumai dumplings that are filled with gorori! First, the sweetness of tomatoes and the taste of shumai meat, and then the spiciness that gradually spreads. A finish that leaves a tingling spiciness in the mouth even after swallowing. It's quite spicy, so be careful of those who are not good at spicy foods and small children.



Kiyoken "Yokohama Shiumai Chili" is recommended not only for enjoying over rice but also as a snack for sake. You can compare it with the previously introduced " Yokohama Shumai Mapo ".
