The summer specialty "mizu-anmitsu" is now on sale at Kamakura Goro Honten. It will be available at the store from May 20 until around late August (from June only at the Asagaya store), and at the official online store from May 31 until 5:00 p.m. on August 28.

Kamakura Goro Honten "Mizu-anmitsu

Kamakura Goro Honten's specialty, anmitsu, is made with natural water from Mt. Anmitsu" is the specialty of Kamakura Goro Honten. I think it would be the most delicious if there was an amitsu that melts together! This was the starting point of the development. By keeping the shape just at the edge of fluffiness, the bean paste and honey melt together in the mouth.


The secret of the deliciousness of "mizu-anmitsu" is its mouth feel as if it instantly returns to water as soon as you put it in your mouth. Fuji, and is made with water pumped up from 180 meters below the ground in Yamamiya, Fujinomiya City, at the foot of Mount Fuji, for a refreshing taste. When you swallow the natural water jelly, you can enjoy a "momentary coolness" as it melts in your mouth.


Since cutting the natural water jelly in advance would result in the formation of "corners," the jelly is sold as a large polka-dot without being cut. The jelly is cooled and topped with red bean paste from Hokkaido and molasses from Okinawa, then scooped into bite-size pieces with a spoon.


Prices are 270 yen per piece, 864 yen for 3 pieces, 1,836 yen for 6 pieces, and 2,732 yen for 9 pieces (tax included). Some stores may not carry the full set.
