Instant Yaki Ramen

Ingredients

Here is what you will need

1 bag of soy sauce flavored instant ramen (bagged noodles)
1 egg
A dash of sesame oil
1 cup water
Vegetables of your choice such as bean sprouts, onions, carrots, komatsuna, etc. as needed
Meat of your choice, such as ham, sausage, pork chops, etc., as desired

Leftover ingredients from the fridge will suffice! Eggs are for topping.

Preparation

Cut vegetables and meat into bite-size pieces.

Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and fry the ingredients.

Once the ingredients are cooked, remove them to a plate.

Spread a small amount of oil and crack an egg to make a fried egg. Once cooked, remove the eggs from the plate.

Fill a frying pan with water and bring to a boil, then add the noodles and bring back to a boil.

When the noodles have loosened and the water has evaporated, add the stir-fried ingredients back in and stir-fry to combine. If the noodles are dry or do not break up easily, add water little by little while stirring.

Add about half of the powdered (liquid) broth and toss it all together. If too much is added, it will become salty, so add a little at a time and adjust accordingly.

When the soup has dissolved and is well mixed in, place it in a bowl and top with a fried egg. Finished~! If you like, you can cut and sprinkle green onions on top of the soup.

How does the yaki ramen taste?

The sticky noodles are well mixed with the punchy soy sauce broth and taste great! When you crack open the noodles and dip them into the thickly molten egg yolk, the noodles, which have a strong soy sauce flavor, become mellow all at once. It is also delicious. It has a "B-class gourmet" feel, like a food stall meal!

We recommend adding grated ginger, grated garlic, or coarsely ground black pepper to taste. The main seasoning is accomplished with the included broth, so it's easy to make without fail! It is also a great dish to accompany beer.
