Gee! Zombie Chazuke" with blue zombies floating in it, the impact is amazing! It's "limited to this world" and "so good your brain will fall out!" Looks creepy but tastes normal...?

Agh!

Found in a souvenir store inside the Tokyo Tower, "Zombie Chazuke" comes in a four-serving package and is priced at 556 yen (tax not included).

Zombie Chazuke

Zombie Chazuke" is an ochazuke with "zombie toppings. It is "limited to this world" and "so good that your brain will fall out! The company says.

zombie teazuke

4 servings

The recipe is the same as for ordinary ochazuke. Put an appropriate amount of rice in a bowl, and add a bag of zombie chazuke-moto.

Pour in the hot water and...oooh, it's bright red! This appetite-destroying toxicity! It's like a sea of blood!

Finally, topping it off with a bright blue zombie completes the zombie chazuke. Hmmm, this looks good. Is it really delicious?

Let's top up the zombies!

Completed!

I took a bite to try it, and guess what? It tastes like ordinary salmon chazuke. Ingredients listed on the back of the package include arare, sesame seeds, cod roe flavor granules, dried salmon flakes, and dried wakame seaweed. The impact of the chazuke was only apparent, but when I tried it, I found it to be a delicious chazuke.

Huh? Delicious!

The dried flakes, which soak up the flavor of salmon, are said to be inspired by pieces of zombie flesh. The blue zombie has a crunchy texture. When stirred, they slowly melt and become squishy, which may be a little cute.

Not zombie meat.

It looks a bit...well...quite (!?) Zombie Chazuke" looks a bit...well...rather (!?) creepy. It could be used as a souvenir to make an impact or as a menu item at a Halloween party. If you have the courage, why don't you pick one up?
