Exquisite "chocolate daifuku" with surplus mochi

Arrange the cut rice cake into chocolate Daifuku! I refer to Morinaga's recipe.

Material ( For 1 person )
Cut rice cake 1 piece
water 1 tsp
Starch Appropriate amount
Pure cocoa 1/4 teaspoon
sugar 1 tsp
Chocolate bar (this time I used a dozen milk) 2 grains

Valentine? I'm not interested! We would like to introduce you to the exquisite mochi-mochi chocolate Daifuku made from mochi, which we would like people to try. The recipe was based on Morinaga's website.

● Materials (for 1 person)

1 cut rice cake 1 teaspoon water
Potato starch Appropriate amount Pure cocoa 1/4 teaspoon
1 teaspoon sugar
2 chocolate bars (using a dozen milk this time)

The cooking utensils to prepare are a heat-resistant bowl and bat, saran wrap, spatula, and tea strainer if any.

● How to make

Put the cut rice cake in a heat-resistant bowl and sprinkle with water (1 teaspoon). After wrapping lightly, chin in the microwave (500W) for about 40 seconds.

Heat for 40 seconds

After removing, add pure cocoa (1/4 teaspoon) and sugar (1 teaspoon) and knead well with a spatula.

Place the kneaded rice cake on a bat sprinkled with potato starch and sprinkle the whole rice cake and hands with potato starch.

Sprinkle with potato starch so that it doesn't stick to your hands.

Knock off excess potato starch, roll out the mochi, and wrap it with chocolate.

Place it on a plate and top it with pure cocoa or powdered sugar (not included in the amount) to complete it! You can clean it with a tea strainer.

● I tried it

Umm ... what is this? The mochi mochi is slightly sweet, and when you bite it, you will find chocolate inside. It melts as you chew and wraps your tongue gently. Bitter pure cocoa and sweet milk chocolate mix in your mouth to create a rich and exquisite salted plum!

The balance of sweetness and bitterness is insanely good!

I think it's absolutely delicious to wrap fruit inside or arrange chocolate with white chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate with alcohol, etc.

The trick is to make it quickly! Then, when rolling, pull the dough (rice cake) to stretch it and shape it so that the surface is smooth. Even if the shape is a little distorted, if you decorate it with cocoa powder or powdered sugar, you can leave it to some extent.
