This slightly bitter-tasting product is made with sweet and sour seasonal strawberries and aromatic French chocolate, and will be available at direct sales stores from February 1 to 28, 2023. The price is 270 yen per piece (tax included).

Bitter chocolate from France is used for the red bean paste, and the mochi dough is made of Japanese glutinous rice with premium cacao paste to give it a rich, bitter chocolate flavor.

Tochiotome" strawberries, which have high sugar content, moderate acidity, firm flesh, and are juicy when eaten, were selected as the key ingredient for the strawberry daifuku. The sweet and sour taste of the fruit complements the sweetness and bitterness of the chocolat. The product is also suitable for people who do not usually eat Japanese sweets. Each piece contains 178 kcal, and the quantity is limited.
