"Morihan" Collaboration Sushiro

will release on July 3 a collaboration product between Sushiro Cafe Department and "Morihan," a long-established tea shop in Uji, Kyoto. The lineup includes "Matcha Parfait," "Matcha Mont Blanc," and "Matcha Ice Cream Cake.

The sweets using Uji matcha from the long-established tea shop Morihan, which were popular in the past, will be available again this year. The three new sweets are carefully selected under the supervision of Mr. Kikuoka, one of Japan's leading tea masters in both name and reality, who has won the National Tea Judging Technique Competition twice in the past.

Matcha Parfait from a long-established tea shop

A cool parfait with matcha ice cream, matcha honey, dainagon azuki beans, agar style jelly, and other ingredients. The matcha ice cream and matcha honey are made from carefully selected high-grade tea leaves from the finest first-grade teas, giving the parfait a rich, sweet aroma and a deep, mellow richness.

The matcha honey is prepared in the store, which gives it the aroma and beautiful color of Uji matcha. Dainagon azuki beans cooked with just the right amount of sweetness are combined with agar-agar style jelly to create a cool parfait that is perfect for summer. The price is 350 yen (tax included, same as below).

This sweet treat is covered with Mont Blanc cream, which has the rich sweet aroma and mellow richness of matcha green tea made from carefully selected high-grade tea leaves from the first tea leaves. The sponge has a subtle green tea bitterness, and the cream underneath the Mont Blanc cream has a hidden salt flavor that makes the green tea flavor stand out even more. The price is 280 yen.

Matcha Green Tea Ice Cream Cake from a long-established tea shop

This ice cream cake uses carefully selected high-grade tea leaves from the first tea leaves for the sponge crumb, mousse, and sponge on the top surface, allowing you to enjoy the taste of matcha green tea. The price is 260 yen.
