The oyakodon is cooked to order and served hot. The chicken, onions, and special sauce are simmered in a pot before two eggs are melted and poured over a bowl of rice.

The special sauce, developed especially for oyakodon, has a rich broth flavor. The soy sauce-based sauce is flavored with katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) and kombu (kelp), and the chicken extract has been added to give the dish a deep taste. The Oyako-don is served with a generous amount of this special sauce, making it a "tsuyu tadashi" dish that is easily devoured.

When the oyakodon is served in a bowl, the aroma of dashi broth wafts out, and the fragrant smell is very appetizing. Because the dish is "tsuyu tadashi," the aroma and flavor can be felt the moment the bowl arrives, and even the rice at the bottom of the bowl is soaked in the sauce.

This year, the oyako donburi is available in two sizes: regular and large. The oyako-don "oyako-don dai-mori" is double the amount of chicken of the "oyako-don namimori. Oyakodon Namamori is priced at 547 yen (tax included), and Oyakodon Daimori is priced at 734 yen.
