This Earl Grey tea is supervised by Afternoon Tea TEAROOM, which operates stores nationwide. The tea is made from 40% Sri Lankan Uva tea leaves, which are known for their rich aroma and refreshing taste. It is also unsweetened, which makes it a thirst-quenching drink without worrying about calories.


When you open the lid, you can smell the aroma of bergamot, which is typical of Earl Grey. One sip and you will be surprised to find that the tea has a strong flavor without a strong bitterness or astringency. It can be served very cold in a cup or glass filled with ice without worrying about diluting the flavor.


Taking advantage of the volume (950 ml per bottle) and rich flavor, I decided to make half of it into a jelly. After heating it lightly, dissolve it with commercial gelatin powder, put it in a mold, and refrigerate it for a few hours. Since it is sugar-free, do not add sugar.


The result is a clear reddish-brown color. Mint leaves or lemon slices can be added for a cooler look. Finally, pour gum syrup or other sweetener over the top to adjust the sweetness to your liking.
