BAKE CHEESE TART, a cheese tart specialty store, will sell "SOY Tart from Plants" from May 18 to June 30 (until it is gone). The price is 300 yen per piece (tax included).

Plant-Based SOY Tart

A sustainable plant-based tart that does not contain cheese. It was developed through a trial-and-error process to achieve the delicious taste of the fluffy and smooth mousse and crunchy tart cookies that characterize "freshly baked cheese tarts" while using plant-based ingredients such as soy milk.

The mousse is made from rich soy milk, which has less of the green smell characteristic of soy milk. Lemon paste and vanilla paste are added to give it a cream cheese-like flavor. The use of sugar made from sugar beets also contributes to the soft and gentle sweetness of the mousse.

The tart cookies are made with a mix of processed brown sugar for a richer flavor without eggs or butter. The use of plant-based ingredients instead of animal ingredients (including dairy products and eggs) and sugar refined from animal bones also helps to reduce greenhouse gases produced by livestock farming.

Sold at all BAKE CHEESE TART stores in Japan and BAKE CHEESE TART plus RINGO Lazona Kawasaki store. Not available at Sakura Machi Kumamoto store and all BAKE the SHOP stores.
