Königskrone has announced on its official website that "Spring Marron Tart" will be available as a limited-time-only sweet treat from March 11, and reservations are already being accepted. The retail price is 1,188 yen (tax included, same below).

Königskronen Spring Marron Tart

This is a seasonal flavor of Königskronen's classic "Marron Tart" made with astringent chestnuts, and is usually made at this time of year. It is marketed as a seasonal flavor that allows you to enjoy a mouth-watering springtime hermony.

The sable tart is placed at the bottom, topped with cherry blossom dough with azuki beans, chocolate chiffon, astringent chestnuts, walnuts, almonds, fondant and cherry blossoms.

It is reported to be available at all Königskronen stores nationwide. A list of store locations can be found on the official website. Please note that due to the effects of the new coronavirus, the opening hours of all stores have been changed.
