Patisserie Kihachi will be offering "Mont Blanc SAKURA" and "SAKURA Roll" cakes for the cherry blossom season, available from February 23 to April 19.

Mont Blanc SAKURA was created by a pastry chef who wanted to give the popular Mont Blanc of 2017 a taste unique to spring. It features a refreshing taste with a hint of cherry blossoms and an appearance reminiscent of pretty cherry blossoms.

A mild white bean paste milk mousse is filled with a melt-in-your-mouth butter cream with a hint of cherry blossom. The center of the mousse is filled with plum and strawberry jellies, accentuating the refreshing sourness. The base is made from a mixture of whole wheat flour, wheat flour, butter, sugar, and chopped cherry leaves. The top is decorated with cherry blossom paste Mont Blanc cream and cherry blossoms with a hint of saltiness.

SAKURA Roll

SAKURA Roll is made of strawberry cream with a light scent of cherry blossoms, refreshing rare cheese mousse, brandy-flavored sweet bean paste with a gentle sweetness, and sweet and sour strawberries rolled up in a pink soufflé dough with concentrated raspberry juice. It is decorated with salted cherry blossoms and cherry leaves, inspired by the Japanese confectionery Sakura Mochi.

The price is 605 yen for a cut, and 2,376 yen for the 14cm size. Both prices will be changed from April 1.

As a general rule, all Patisserie Kihachi stores will carry this product, but some stores will be excluded. The items available at each store will differ. Also, the sales period is subject to change.
