Jaga Pokkuru Scallop Salt Flavor, a new flavor of the "Jaga Pokkuru" souvenir product from Hokkaido, has been available in limited areas and in limited quantities since March 16. It will go on sale on March 17 at Calbee Marche, Calbee's official online store.

Jaga Pokkuru" is a representative product of "Potato Farm," a souvenir brand from Hokkaido that focuses on ingredients and production methods, and was first introduced in 2002 under the name "Pure Jaga," which was later renamed after the legendary Ainu fairy "Koropokkuru," which means "the person under the butterbur. The name was changed to the current product name.

The new product was developed with an emphasis on the characteristics of "Jaga Pokkuru," such as "a proper potato taste and aroma" and "a crispy texture," as well as "Hokkaido's originality. The scallops that form the basis of the new flavor are the largest producer of scallops among Hokkaido's abundant marine resources, and they have a familiar flavor. The scallop flavor was retained, and the balance between the saltiness and the flavor that suppresses the unique smell of seafood was adjusted, resulting in a flavor that is the result of over 100 prototypes.


100% Hokkaido potatoes are used and cut whole with the skin on to preserve the flavor components. Potato Farm's unique manufacturing process allows you to enjoy the crispy texture and original flavor of the potato. Scallop extract powder made from dried scallop soup stock and Hokkaido scallop powder are used to give the dish a rich scallop flavor.
