From Calbee to "Delicious to the skin." New products "Potato Chips Flower Algae Salt Flavor" and "Potato Chips Smoked Cheese Flavor" are now available. It will be sold in advance at the official online shop "Calbee Marche" from August 31st (limited quantity). In addition, it will be sold nationwide from September 20th.

Potato chips

"Potato chips" is Calbee's potato chips, the first new product in which potatoes are fried with skin. Developed with the desire to "maximize the goodness of domestically produced potatoes carefully raised by farmers," the concept is "potato chips that connect the fields and customers." It is sliced into thick slices, leaving the skin, and is slowly and carefully fried so that it does not burn, taking about 1.5 times as long as normal potato chips so as not to spoil the flavor of the potatoes.

The domestic potatoes used in "Potato Chips" are carefully selected from the three varieties of "Okhotsk Chips", "Andover" and "Snowden" from the viewpoint of taste, texture and appearance. The varieties used vary depending on the season.

Potato chips flower algae salty taste

Potato chips with a distinctive potato flavor, using the seawater of the Seto Inland Sea and the special salt "flower algae salt" that is condensed with the flavor of seaweed. The estimated price is around 155 yen (tax included).
