Easy Grilled Sweet Potatoes on the Fish Grill Recipe

What

to prepare: Sweet potatoes (fine), aluminum foil

Directions

Wash sweet potatoes well and wrap them tightly in aluminum foil without gaps while they are still wet.

Step 1: Wash sweet potatoes.

Step 2 Wrap tightly in aluminum foil while still wet.

Place the sweet potatoes on a fish grill so that they are under the fire. Since most fish grills are in the shape of a "L", the sweet potatoes should be placed in a "L" or "U" shape as well. As with normal cooking, water is added to the saucer and the sweet potatoes are grilled.

Step 3 Grill for 30 minutes, rolling halfway through, then turn off the heat and let sit for 10 minutes.

Cook on the lowest heat for about 30 minutes. Roll the sweet potatoes once or twice during cooking to change the surface of the fire.

Turn off the heat and leave it for 10 minutes. It is now done! If the sweet potato seems hard, wrap it again in aluminum foil and heat it again.

Step 4 Completion!

How does a baked sweet potato taste?

The texture is more sticky than soft, just like a baked sweet potato! It has a concentrated sweet flavor, just like the ones you buy at the supermarket. For a more savory flavor, peel off the aluminum sheet and lightly grill the sweet potato before baking.

The key is to use thin sweet potatoes. The thicker the sweet potato is, the harder it will be to cook, and the part facing the fire will burn. Ideally, the sweet potato should be thick enough to fit into a paddle made with the index finger and thumb! Please give it a try.
