Chicken Breast Steak with Garibata and Soy Sauce
Ingredients
1 chicken breast2 teaspoons olive oil
10g (0.35oz) butter
5 tbsp soy sauce
1 clove or 2 teaspoons garlic clove
A pinch of black pepper
Preparation
Bring the chicken meat to room temperature, and open it flat with a knife in the thick part. If you have enough time, soaking the chicken in water with salt and sugar in advance is recommended (but not necessary) to make it moist and tender.Poke about 10 holes in the skin with a fork.
Turn it over and tap it with the back of a knife. This will even out the thickness of the whole.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the fish from the skin side.
Cook for about 2 minutes on each side, and when cooked, add the butter, soy sauce, and garlic. Cook down, tossing to coat.
Place on a plate and pour the remaining sauce from the pan over the top. Sprinkle generously with black pepper and serve.
What does it taste like?
The first thing you will notice is the rich taste of the sauce. The buttery flavor, the richness of soy sauce, and the punch of garlic and black pepper give it an addictive, mildly salty taste. The meat is moist, tender, and pleasantly crunchy. The more you bite into it, the more it overflows with umami, and the more you enjoy the deep flavor of the sauce.
The rich flavor of the sauce makes the chicken meat, which is naturally protein-rich, a hearty meal. If you want to save money and still enjoy plenty of meat, this is the way to go!
