Ozeki PB (private brand) milk

We found two kinds of Ozeki PB (private brand) milk in the milk section of the Ozeki supermarket. I actually bought them and compared them.

Ozeki Dairy Milk

Ozeki Dairy Milk, with a picture of a cow printed on the package, comes in a 1,000ml (0us fl oz) bottle and is priced at 189 yen (tax not included). The milk is produced under a total hygiene control manufacturing process approved by the Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare. Nonfat milk solids content is 8.3% or higher, and milk fat content is 3.6% or higher.


The milk is light and easy to drink, with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. This milk has no peculiarities and is easy to drink. We recommend it not only as a morning drink, but also with cornflakes.

Ozeki Hokkaido Milk

Ozeki Hokkaido Milk, with the name of the product printed on the plain white package, comes in a 1,000ml (0us fl oz) bottle and costs 229 yen. It is a bit more expensive than Ozeki Dairy Milk. This milk is made from high quality raw milk and is non-adjustable. Non-fat milk solids content of 8.4% or higher, milk fat content of 3.6% or higher.


The overall taste is light, but at the same time, it has a rich milk finish. It has a slightly milky impression. To be honest, if you don't like milk, you won't be able to taste the difference between this and Ozeki Dairy Milk, but the mellowness of the milk that lingers softly is stronger here.


Private brand milk has a tendency to be hit or miss (personal opinion), but Ozeki's milk is good in both taste and price. But Ozeki's milk is good in both taste and price, and I think it's a product you can't go wrong buying. If you see it, pick it up!
