Lawson "Dora Mocchi (Anko & Whip)"

At each Lawson store, "Dora Mocchi (Anko & Whip)" has been renewed and sold from May 12th. The price is 180 yen (tax included).

The "Dora Mocchi" series is a popular product of Lawson's Japanese and Western eclectic sweets, which has sold more than 21 million units in total since its launch in May 2019. This time, we have renewed the standard Dorayaki product "Dora Mocchi (Anko & Whip)". The amount of whipped cream has been increased by reviewing the mixing ratio of red bean paste and whipped cream.

The thickness of the dough is about 5mm, which is the thinnest in the history of Lawson's original sweets Dorayaki. By adding "Nagaimo" to the raw material of the dough, a chewy and crisp dough is realized.

When cooking azuki beans, we use "algal salt" that does not have the sharp spiciness peculiar to salt. The bean paste has a refreshing aftertaste.

The shape has also been devised, and a manufacturing method is adopted in which the outer circumference (edge) of the dorayaki dough is pressed firmly to prevent the tightly packed contents from spilling out during eating. It has a cute appearance with particular attention to the strength and shape of the press.
