Private brand "Life Premium" of supermarket "Life". We have a lineup of products that are particular about materials and manufacturing methods because they are a little expensive. In addition to dairy products such as milk and yogurt, we also offer bread, tofu, and seasonings.

From that life premium, a new product "Blessed Baumkuchen" has appeared. When I went to a store in Tokyo, it was pushed hard, so I was curious and tried it.

Baumkuchen made from rich rich and umami red eggs, milk from Sarobetsu Toyotomi, Hokkaido, and yogurt made from 100% Shinshu milk. The diameter is about 15 cm, the height is 3 cm, and the price is 298 yen (excluding tax).


The yellow color of the dough is dark because it uses red eggs. When you hold it in your hand, you can feel the heavy weight.



It has a moist texture and is finely textured. The richness of the eggs is not odd! It has a good balance with sweetness and has a rich taste.



The finish is rich and there is a sense of satisfaction with each bite. Still, it doesn't have a sticky weight, so you can easily reach for the next bite. Excellent compatibility with coffee.



The taste of specialty stores may be overstated, but I think it's not surprising that it's a boxed souvenir in the basement of a department store. This is about 300 yen cheap! If you like Baumkuchen, please give it a try.
