The shop is located in the commercial facility "Hiroo Plaza" along Gaien Nishi-dori, just off Hiroo Subway Station. Morning is also held at "Bread & Tapas Sawamura", which is also located north of Gaien Nishi-dori, but please note that the menu is different. The bakery & cafe Sawamura introduced this time has an entrance on the 2nd floor up by the escalator.


Immediately after entering the bakery area. If you go to the back, the cafe area spreads out. When using eat-in, first order the menu at the cash register in the bakery area. It is a system that waits at your seat after completing the payment. The morning time is from 7:00 to 11:00. After that, you can enjoy lunch and cafe menu.

Sawamura Morning

This time I ordered "Sawamura Morning". It is a luxurious breakfast set that reminds you of the breakfast of the hotel you are traveling to, such as the proud bread platter "Kagomori Bread", a cooking plate with homemade sausages and cheese omelets, yogurt and fruit juice. The price is 2,800 yen (excluding tax, the same applies below). It is a reasonable amount for sharing with 2 to 3 people.


There are 10 kinds of assorted bread. Eight types of bread (2 slices each) are available, including whole grains, dried tomatoes, raisins, British bread, baguettes, and campagne. Both were toasted and crispy and warm.






The characteristic of Sawamura's bread is its chewy texture with a lot of water. Even if you eat it without adding anything, your mouth will not be dry and you can simply enjoy the flavor of wheat and ingredients.


However, the set comes with butter and jam. Especially the jam (marmalade on this day) is insanely delicious, so apply plenty and enjoy the richness. If you like it, you can buy it in a bottle at the bakery.



The remaining two are sweets. On this day, we had "Pain au Chocolat" with chocolate wrapped in croissant dough and Danish pastry with roasted sweet potato (1 slice each). I think the roasted sweet potato Danish is a seasonal product. It had an impact because it contained whole roasted sweet potatoes instead of paste.



Not only bread but also cooking plates are delicious one by one! The cheese omelet with plenty of diced bacon is baked crispy on the inside and crispy on the back. It has a rich and delicious taste.




Homemade sausages are full of volume. You can enjoy the rough texture and the refreshing flavor of herbs.


Other lineups include potato salad, carottes rape, ham, romaine lettuce (with uncut leaves!), And mini-cup minestrone. You can enjoy a wide variety of colors and tastes.





If you can't eat all the bread in the basket, you can take it home. Let's talk to the shop staff and get a bag.


In addition to this, there are a total of 8 types of breakfast at the restaurant, including "Bacon and Fried Egg Thick Sliced Toast Plate" (1,300 yen) and "Raisin Bread French Toast" (1,100 yen). Only basket-filled bread is offered for S500 yen and L1,000 yen (Sawamura Morning's is L size).
